Every year studios and producers fight for the coveted release dates falling on Eid which is most lucrative, followed by diwali than Christmas , the first friday after IPL ,Independence day and Republic day . All the major stars book these release dates 1 to 2 years in advance and that is why most awaited bollywood movies also release on these 6 days. In fact all the major clashes also happen on these 6 days.
